Philosophy

New products come and go with an increasing pace every day. The average product life cycle is shortened, putting pressure on the time-to-market and costs for each new product and the corresponding production line. This trend demands for an improved product development in all kinds of markets. By using model-based development techniques, it is possible to predict and improve the behavior of new products long before these are actually made. This process, also referred to as digital twinning, implies the number of physical prototypes can be significantly reduced, if not completely left out. Digital twinning has a proven positive impacts on cost efficiency, time to market and eventually also to the quality of the product. At DME we are specialized to aid our customers with improved product development using model based development techniques. Initially, the roots of DME lie in the high-tech semicon market, where model-based development is an everyday practice, rather than an exception.
